Hvar - Ivan Dolac

Ivan Dolac is a quiet village located on the south side of the island Hvar. 20 kilometers away from the Old Town , 10 kilometers from Jelsa , 38 kilometers from the town of Hvar . It was founded in the 15th century. Famous architecture of Dalmatian masters is visible at every step of the village. From this place you can see the islet Ščedro and the island of Korcula, and many natural beaches make the beauty of the landscape . In the 15th century there was a village named Zac which was limited to the eastern part of the shore ( the new name is Zavala ) , and in another part there where was a monastery that dates back to before the 15th century , was a hamlet in front of younger Ivan Dolac.
