Brač - Sutivan

Sutivan is a small island municipality located on the northwest coast of the island of Brac , Split is located only 13 kilometers away. During the construction of the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian in Split one of its dignitaries built his palace in Sutivan in front of today's Kavanjinovih court . Following these historical traces can be noted that Sutivan celebrates 1700 anniversary of its existence. Sutivan has been named after St. Ivan Krstitelj. This village is today a small and peaceful settlement of the Mediterranean with beautiful beaches and wooded walkway which starts in Lučica passing through the bays Likve , Prbuje , Stinive , Stipanska , Male Tihe and Vičje Luke .
