Bobovisca is situated on the west coast of the island Brač, located in a beautiful bay which is divided in the Vicja harbor and the harbor Bobovisca. Both bays are very peaceful with a natural protecion and therefore are attracting many sailors and tourists. Bobovisca has fifty permanent residents which are working in the agriculture, fishing and especially in the recent past in tourism, in particular in nautical tourism. The depth of the sea is sufficient to receive vessels with a large draft. Here is also located a fortress from the 18. Century which was converted to a mansion. You should also visit Vicja Luka, because it isone of the most important archeological sites of the Illyrian-Greek civilization. The sea is within the bay Bobovisca clearly thanks to the extraordinary ecological conservation and it is excellent for bathing, swimming and diving in the vast depths of the sea.
