The idyllic country house was built in 1905. by our grandfather Peter, who spent 20 years as a gum digger in New Zealand to earn money for the house, destroyed in 1962 by an earthquake and renovated 5 years ago by my husband and me we with love.

The idyllic country house was built in a quiet surrounding next to the village church ( you have only one neighbor behind and one beside the house). It is comfortable,restored with love for a detail. The rooms are large with traditional,thick,stone walls, which provide a cozy atmosphere. The house extends over three floors with balconies ,from which you can enjoy the romantic sunset with a glass of wine.There is a spacious,rustic kitchen,which leads out to the garden full of rosemary, lavender and laurel.

Podgora located in the heart of Dalmatia on the ecologically cleanest part of the Dalmatian Adriatic Sea with the clearest water and beaches. Podgora and Dalmatia are on all various traffic routes off all European countries. By air- the airports of Split and Dubrovnik are only 1, 5 h or 3,5h and can be reached by the coastal road or highway . By Car- the new highways from the Croatian border brings you to Rijeka or Zagreb from there you must follow the direction to Split, Makarska, Dubrovnik . After you pass Split ( do not enter ), follow the direction Makarska, Tunel Sv. Ilija, Podgora. Once you get to the coast turn on the left to MAKARSKA, TUCEPI, PODGORA. Don't enter Makarska- Podgora is 7 km far . By see- an alternative is a ferry boat trip from Rijeka to Split, from where you can then continue to Podgora . Other ferry routes exist from Italy to Split.”
