Pelješac - Trstenik

Trstenik is considered to be the oldest place on the island Pelješac. It belongs to the municipality Orebić in Dubrovnik Neretva County. Above the village is located known site from the Stone Age, where they found a stone ax dating from the Neolithic period. This area proves that Trstenik has been inhabited by people since the Stone Age. According to the census in 2001. lived in the settlement 97 locals who were mostly Catholic Croats, while back in the 1880th year the area was inhabited by 260 people.
