Molunat is a tourist resort located in the extreme south of the Croatian coast, 40 kilometers away from the city of Dubrovnik. The name comes from the Greek root word molos, which translated into Croatian language means harbor, and this points to the ports of Veliki and Mali Molunt. They are mostly protected from the storm, and those informations can be found in numerous writings and archaeological findings. Local residents are mostly engaged in fishing, agriculture and tourism.
