Mlini

Mlini is a historic village Molina, and in ancient times it was the center of the milling industry. It is located in the vicinity of Dubrovnik, and over the years this has been a favorite destination for many tourists. There is located the parish church of Sv. Ilar, and the name comes from the Latin word hilaris which translated into Croatian language means joyful and cheerful. For the first time this church was mentioned in 1272nd in Dubrovnik statute. Over the centuries it has been often demolished, and rebuilt, but in 1667th it has been hardly affected by the earthquake. The church was restored the 1683rd, but this beauty did not last long. 1823 it was again damaged during the earthquake. Due to its rich cultural and historical heritage and beautiful beaches Mlini every year attracts a large number of tourists.
