Brsečine

Brsečine is located in Dubrovnik Neretva County, northwest of Dubrovnik on the Adriatic highway. It contains several hamlets, including: Mihanovići, Kalac, Kugla, Morter, Senj, Brdari, Podkondžilo i Podubrava. It is located above the main road, and only a portion is located below it. At the time of the Dubrovnik Republic, this little place was intended for vacation trips of Dubrovnik authorities, and here can be visited the mansion of Cvijeta Zuzorić which has been built in the 16th century. Also known is mansion Ohmučević - Bizzaro, which dates from the 17th century. In this place there is the church of Sv Đurđe, and nearby are the remains of the church of Sv Stjepan. The patron of the village is Sv. Ana, who has its own church. In 1853rd here was born Vid Vuletic Vukasović, Dubrovnik's historian and writer.
