Of course, there are good reasons why the area of Privlak constantly was inhabited from the Neolithic Age to the present day. This area is not only blessed with a pleasant climate, flat coastal waters but also with a lot of fresh water and arable land. Formerly Privlaka was known for the Sabunjari, diligent workers which dig out the sand out of the sea and distributed it with their wooden boats along the Croatian coast sold. It offers the visitor the comfort of their sandy beaches, unforgettable sunsets and a variety of traditional delicacies. Oposite to the beautiful island of Vir is Privlaka located, 7 km north-west of Nin. As the most attractive tourist areas in this area should be mentioned Sabunike and Škrapavac which are known for their long sandy beaches, warm and clean sea and fresh air.
