Neviđane is the town and harbor on the north coast of the island Pasman. . The older part of the city is located 300 meters away from the sea. First reference to it dates in 1067. It is named after the Roman name Naevius but historians believe that it may also be named after the monastery of the holy Nevijana. Opinions differ, some historians believe, however, that the place received its name because of its location. In fact, at that time the city found itself in the inner part of the island and was invisible from the sea. West of the village are located the ruins of the old church of St Martin from the 9. Century. Up to 1740 the municipality Neviđane belonged to Dobropoljana, and then they were split off into independent municipalities. According to the data of population, had Neviđane 1579. only 150 inhabitants. In 1603. 49 Families and 210 people lived on the island. In the year 1760.
