Karin is a small town in the north Dalmatia. It consists of two separate places, Karin Gornji and Donji Karin. In the past this was one a place but later it was divided into two parts. Karin sea is part of the Adriatic sea which extends from the city up to the foothills of the mountain Bukovica. Small and quiet town Karin began to develop in the sixties and seventies as the people from the former Yugoslav states began to colonize it. Karin had a turbulent history. It developed up to the beginning of the nineties to a small, quiet place that has not lived from tourism. At this time the local population was warking in the agriculture and fisheries. People have begun to invest in tourism few years ago. The last war caused in this place too much destruction and emigration . After the war, came this quiet small Dalmatian place back to normal. Today, Karin has multiple, smaller resorts, smaller camps, family hotel facilities ... Karin is in the winter months almost empty. At the begi...nning of the summer the number of people is increased by up to ten times.  The capacities are adjusted for agritourism which offers a number of interesting activities. One of the biggest advantages of this place is the healing mud. Karin Bay has several kilometers of beach. Mud from the beach is known for several years as the treatment of many rheumatic diseases.  Today we can say that Karin has approached the health tourism with all his blessings. Karin is a place with a lot of potential, natural beauty and healing power are only a small part of the treasures of nature which we find here.
