Svetvinčenat - the city of the Feast
Sanvincenat or San Vincente is a small town named after the martyr Sveti Vincencije. The city consists of twenty villages: Bibići (Bibici), Bokordići (Boccordi), Boškari (Boscari), Brhanići (Bercani), Bričanci (San Bricio), Butkovići (Butcovici), Cukrići (Zuccari), Čabrunići (Zabroni), Foli (Folli), Juršići (Roveria), Kranjčići (Cranzetti), Krase (Crasse o Marchetti), Pajkovići (Paicovi), Peresiji (Peresio), Pusti (Radigosa), Raponji (Rapogni), Režanci (Resanci), Salambati (Salambati), Smoljanci (Smogliani), Stancija Malusa (Stanzia Malusa), Svetvinčenat (Sanvincenti), Štokovci (Stocozzi), Tofulini (Toffolini). The city is situated in the center of the southern part of Istria, half way between Pula and Pazin. The whole city Sanvincenat is surrounded by forests and meadows. Like in a fairy tale. The city is rich in cultural heritage and the monuments and sights to mention are Dvorac Morosini-Grimani, Kaštel Grimani i Gradska lo...a. In the center of the city are the following Churches: Crkva sv. Vincenta, Crkva Navještenja Marijina, Crkva sv. Antuna Opata, Crkva sv. Roka, Crkva sv. Katarine. Of cultural events are to mention Dance and non-verbal Theater festival and Istria ethno jazz festival.
