Poreč  is located only thirty meters above sea level and is almost 2000 years old. We can say that this city is not only a small village. The city has an excellent public transport connections. As in the most Istria air temperature and the sea is just ideal for the development of tourism. In the vicinity of the city is located the cave Baredina, single open geological monument in Istria. It should be mentioned that in 2009. Sports Centre  Žatika was built for the needs of World Man's Handball championship. Tourism in the city dates back to 1845, when it printed its first tourist guides with descriptions and pictures of the city center. Porec as a tourist destination is not well known over the European borders, although in the seventies it was one of the most important destinations in Croatia.Poreč offers sixteen tourist villages, thirty Hotels, numerous parks, Villas and Bungalows, single-family houses. It is interesting to note that it has not only a nudist beach then an entire nudist camping site for the guests which enjoy this type of vacation.
