Županja

Županja is located in eastern Croatia, part of the Vukovar-Sirmium county in Slavonia. According to the 2001 census it has 12,090 inhabitants and is the center of many important roads. For the first time this city was mentioned in the 16th century as a Županje Blato . In the 15th century. županja was part of Austro.-Hungarian monarchy, and the villages Bosnjaci and Štitar belong to it.
