Promajna

In Split Dalmatia County in the municipality of Baska Voda, between the village Bratus to the east and Baska Voda to the west is located the village Promajna. The village Promajna has 372 inhabitants . The village was founded in the 17th century as a village of farmers and fishermen . Known are its fishing evenings which are organized on the occasion of Homeland Thanksgiving Day. Church Svih Svetih has been built in the 2000th. This small fishing village was settled by villagers of Basta and Podgora in the 18th century, and today it has become a rich tourist destination with luxury apartments, houses and villas . Its tourist capacity is about 1000 beds in private houses. White pebble beach and pizzerias , restaurants, cafes , post office and all what is needed for an enjoyable vacation can be found here.
