Baska Voda is situated in Split - Dalmatia district 48 km south of Split. In the central part of the coast of the Adriatic Sea this place was an assembly of the fishermen, seamen and various retailers. In the days of the bread and fruit, the students of the lower classes make an exhibition on the beach promenade in Baska Voda and sell a variety of different delicacies. Four trumpets, five saxophones, four trombones, piano, guitar, bass and drums are the big band. Many long gravel beaches approx. 5 km long with an area of 8 km ² , blue sea, many sports activities such as diving, sailing make Baska Voda ideal to relax. There are also opportunities for hiking, climbing, walking and cycling in terms of proximity of the hillside. Clean air, green landscape and preserved eco-system make Baska Voda suitable for a holiday away from the noise of the city. The city has a large parking lot for cars and buses.
