Baška Voda

Baska Voda is situated in Split - Dalmatia district 48 km south of Split. In the central part of the coast of the Adriatic Sea this place was an assembly of the fishermen, seamen and various retailers. In today's time, Baska Voda is a famous tourist attraction, and today is tourism industry the most important. It consists of five villages: Bast, Baska Voda , Bratuš Krvavica and Promajna . According to the population census in 2001. the municipality had 2924 inhabitants. The population of this peaceful place doubles in the summer. BaškaVoda is located at the foot of the mountain Biokovo and the spacious landscape attracts many visitors. Baska Voda, with its long history and a number of cultural attractions and Mediterranean-style architecture, has become one of the most popular destinations for foreign tourists.
