Idyll of of Bribir Bribir is a small medieval town. Beautiful nature, mountains and hills form an idyllic picture. The idyllic image of this town could also not resist the several conquerors. Today, it is a city with a rich history and cultural heirs. Remains of the old walls and towers you will remind you  of the reign of Prince Frankopan  which ruled Bribir with his family for almost four centuries. Such a long and powerful domination has left many monuments. During the reign of Frankopan family the city walls were built toward defense. Following the demolition of the city walls there are only historical traces of their existence. On the site of the former city walls was built a school . The only heritage from this time is a square tower, from the early 13. century. Church svetog Petra i Pavla is an interesting medieval church which approves the high level of the cultural awareness in this area. The church was built in the early 15. century. Three centuries afterwards... it was reconstructed in the church of the High Baroque style. The Church holds many valuable works. Frescoes, paintings of the fiorentini artist, a marble altar. This is only a small part of the Church's treasury. The Birbir old town is situated on a hill and the view from above  reaches the Novi Vinodolski and the valleys around it.
